Hasan Mahmud

On 19 August 1997, journalist Hasan Mahmud came to the Italy. He came to Italy to participate on the International program. He did not go back for many reasons. When Hasan Mahmud came to Italy, he was the member of National Press Club, he was the publicity secretary of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalist (BFUJ). Furthermore, he was the member of Dhaka Journalist Union and Dhaka Reporters Union.

He came to Italy when he was working as a senior journalist of Daily Janata. He started to live in Rome, the capital city of Italy and continued his journalism career.

He sent pictorial daily news to others news papers and weeks news papers from Italy. On that time, Bangladeshi news papers came to Italy by air mail.

Later, when the technology came with more opportunity, he started to work as a Italy correspondent of ATN Bangla. Furthermore, he created his footprint on the news telecasted on the ATN Bangla UK studio.

Not only in Rome, the capital city, but also he made many pictorial report traveling in many countries of Europe. When Sheikh Hasina, the Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh came to Europe, he had been found there behalf of ATN Bangla.

Currently he is working at ATN Bangla. Journalist Hasan Mahmud is the senior member of Bangla Press Club Italy. Former permanent member of National Press Club is working as the member of Bangla Press Club Italy for the sake of journalism and media.
