How and why Bangla Press Club was formed?
When the number of journalists were increasing in Italy, on that moment, the chief adviser of Bangla Press Club, Italy, freedom fighter and renewed journalist Lutfar Rahman talked with another senior journalist Hasan Mahmud regarding the formation of Bangla Press Club. There was a organization of the journalists named Non-Resident Bangladeshi Journalist Association (NRBjai), Italy. There is further mentioned that, Journalist Pintu Hossain has active contribution on naming on this organization. Shamim Kabir, the editor of Daily Janmadhumi, published from Rome was elected as the founding secretary of Bangla Press Club.
Overcoming many obstacle and removing net of conspiracy, the Bangla Press
Club is now established. The organization is moving forward by the assistance of Shawon Ahmed, Current President of the press club and Europe Bureau Chief of Bangla TV and Labonno Chowdhury, Secretary General of the club and Italy Correspondent of 71 TV. The name and logo have registered already. And all done by the suggestion and direction of famous journalist and chief adviser of Bangla Press Club Lutfar Rahman. Furthermore, many well wishers are helping by proving advise from London, among them some names are mentionable, journalist Habibur Rahman Chunnu, Iqbal Hossain and famous businessman of Italy Mohammad Jashim Uddin and others.
Bangla Press Club is running by the constitution of Italy. It is a registered organization according to the law of Italy. Due to showing honor and support to the constitution of the organization, the officers of the Bangla Press Club have to take many hard decisions.
Bangla Press Club is the first and only journalist organization that is registered. On the other hand, we have to take legal steps against those who used our logo and name to keep the unity of the organization. That is still going on.
Not only capital Rome, Bangla Press Club Italy officers and members are staying in the commercial city of Italy, Milan, dream city Venice, historical city, Napoli and other cities.
Bangla Press Club Italy is organizing many programs to show the culture and our language towards the new generation in foreign land. This organization and its journalists will continue these works in upcoming days.
Bangladesh Embassy in Italy is very much aware of this Bangla Press Club Italy. The officers of this organization have been invited on various programs. The members of Bangla Press Club Italy are participation on the open program of this government center. There will be no any exception on the upcoming days.
Nuruzzaman Khan, Moniruzzaman, Riaz Hossain performed as the president and secretary general of Bangla Press Club Italy in several times and present president is Shawon Ahmed.
We wish assistance of leaders of social, regional, political and cultural organizations of Italy to perform our duties remaining united and honest.
কি ভাবে এবং কেন বাংলা প্রেস ক্লাব গঠিত হলো?
ইতালীতে যখন সাংবাদিকদের সংখ্যা বাড়তে শুরু করলো, ঠিক তখনই বাংলা প্রেস ক্লাব, ইটালির প্রধান উপদেষ্টা মুক্তিযোদ্ধা ও প্রবীণ সাংবাদিক লুৎফর রহমান ইতালির সিনিয়র সাংবাদিক হাসান মাহমুদের সাথে বাংলা প্রেস ক্লাব গঠন করা যায় কিনা এ ব্যাপারে পরামর্শ করেন। তখন হড়হ-ৎবংরফবহঃ (ঘজইলধর) বাংলাদেশি সাংবাদিক সমিতি, ইতালি নামে সাংবাদিকদের একটি সংগঠন ছিল। উল্লেখ করা যেতে পারে ওই সংগঠনটি নামকরণে সাংবাদিক পিন্টু হোসাইন সক্রিয় অবদান রয়েছে। বাংলা প্রেস ক্লাব ইতালীর প্রতিষ্ঠাতা সভাপতি নির্বাচিত হয়েছিলেন রোম থেকে প্রকাশিত দৈনিক জন্মভূমি তৎকালীন সম্পাদক শামীম কবির।
অনেক চড়াই উতরাই পেরিয়ে চক্রান্ত আর ষড়যন্ত্রের জাল ছিন্ন করে বাংলা প্রেস ক্লাব এখন প্রতিষ্ঠিত। প্রেস ক্লাবের বর্তমান সভাপতি বাংলা টিভি ইউরোপ ব্যুরো প্রধান শাওন আহমেদ এবং সাধারণ সম্পাদক ৭১ টিভির ইতালি প্রতিনিধি লাবন্য চৌধুরির দূরদর্শীতায় এগিয়ে যাচ্ছে সংগঠনটি। ইতিমধ্যেই এই সংগঠনের নাম এবং লগো রেজিস্ট্রি করা হয়েছে। আর এ সবকিছুই করা হয়েছে বাংলা প্রেস ক্লাব ইতালীর প্রধান উপদেষ্টা এবং প্রবীণ সাংবাদিক লুৎফর রহমানের পরামর্শ ও নির্দেশনা। এছাড়াও সূদুর লন্ডন থেকেও অনেকে বিভিন্ন ভাবে পরামর্শ ও সহযোগিতা করে যাচ্ছে, যাদের নাম না বললেই নয়, সাংবাদিক হাবিবুর রহমান চুন্ন, ইকবাল হোসেন, এবং ইতালীর বিশিষ্ট ব্যবসায়ী মোহাম্মদ জসীম উদ্দিন প্রমুখ।
বাংলা প্রেস ক্লাব ইতালীর গঠনতন্ত্র অনুযায়ীই চলছে এই সংগঠনটি। ইতালীয় আইন অনুযায়ী রেজিস্ট্রেশন করা এই সংগঠন । সংগঠনকে সম্মান এবং গঠনতন্ত্রের প্রতি অকুণ্ঠ সমর্থনের কারণে অনেক সময় কঠিন সিদ্ধান্ত নিতে হয়েছে বাংলা প্রেস ক্লাব ইতালীর কর্মকর্তাদের।
বাংলা প্রেস ক্লাব ইতালী প্রথম এবং একমাত্র সাংবাদিক সংগঠন যার রেজিস্ট্রেশন করা হয়েছ। আবার এই নাম এবং লোগো ব্যবহার করার কারণে কারো কারো বিরুদ্ধে আমাদের ঐক্য ধরে রাখার স্বার্থে আইণানুগ ব্যবস্থা গ্রহন করা হয়েছে। যা বর্তমানে চলমান।
শুধু রাজধানী রোম নয়, বাংলা প্রেস ক্লাব ইতালীর কর্মকর্তা ও সদস্যরা ছড়িয়ে রয়েছেন, ইতালির বাণিজ্যিক রাজধানী মিলানো, স্বপ্নের নগরী ভেনিস ঐতিহাসিক নগরী নাপোলিসহ ইতালির বিভিন্ন শহরে।
বিদেশের মাটিতে দেশীয় সংস্কৃতি এবং নতুন প্রজন্মের মাঝে আমাদের ভাষা তুলে ধরার জন্য নানা অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করেছে বাংলা প্রেস ক্লাব ইতালী। আগামী দিনেও এ কাজগুলো অব্যাহত রাখবে এই সংগঠনটি এবং এর সাথে জড়িত সাংবাদিকরা।
ইতালির বাংলাদেশ দূতাবাস বাংলা প্রেস ক্লাব ইতালীর সম্পর্কে অবগত রয়েছে। বিভিন্ন অনুষ্ঠানে এই সংগঠনের কর্মকর্তাদের আমন্ত্রণ জানানো হয়। রাষ্ট্রীয় এই প্রতিষ্ঠানের প্রকাশ্য কর্মকান্ড বাংলা প্রেস ক্লাব ইতালীর সদস্যরা দায়িত্বের সাথে পালনকরে যাচ্ছে। আগামী দিনেও তার ব্যতিক্রম হবে না।
বিভিন্ন সময়ে বাংলা প্রেস ক্লাব ইতালীর সভাপতি ও সাধারণ সম্পাদকের দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন, নুরুজ্জামান খান, মনিরুজ্জামান, রিয়াজ হোসেন এবং বর্তমান সভাপতি শাওন আহমেদ।
আমরা ঐক্যবদ্ধ থেকে সততার সাথে দায়েত্ব পালনে ইটালির সামাজিক, আঞ্চলিক, রাজনৈতিক ও সাংস্কৃতিক সংগঠনের নেতাদের সহযোগিতা কামনা করি।
